On Tuesday evening my P.I.C. and I drove to Alexander Theatre in Braamfontein to the premiere of the hugely anticipated comedy Blitz Patrollie.
We got there just in time for i-red carpet walks and interviews and people were looking goooooood.
From the red carpet we were then squashed in a tiny reception area for snacks and Remy Martin drinks. Remy did make sure their drinks were sufficient because it took their waiter almost 4 hours for my “partner in crime” and I to get soft drinks. The bloody waiters were giving us that look of amazement when we ask for i-juice or even water…smh
Anyways, the movie started… some people were in stitches, apparently it was hilarious *yawn* and unique *yawns again* but I did chuckle on some scenes.
Blitz Patrollie to me was like watching one of Leon Schuster’s movies. The Comedy covers Corrupt Politicians, The Police Force, Gay Sports-stars, David Kau’s legs, abusive in-laws, Indian drug lords and and and…
The movie went on circuit this weekend. Trying to echo Joey Rasdien’s words, South Africans Go see Blitz Patrollie! since you won’t make it for Iron-Man 3. Lol
Thank you Remy Martini and Blitz Patrolli for the invite
More of the people spotted at the event:
